Technical
Support Engineer
|
Summary: The purpose of this role is to provide
technical and operational support to both internal and external
clients; this support includes working through support issues,
respecting service levels, training external clients and finding
solutions to computer, telecoms and system security issues.

world, our client is a leader in the field of electronic systems and
location-based services. The company provides computer-based
security systems, applications and telecom solutions for a number of
industries.
|
|
Responsibilities |
-
Determine and isolate
problems (including the root cause), understand the impact and work with the
Team to provide solutions to technical issues.

Provide daily
responses via the Ticketing tool, respecting the various Service Level
Agreements (SLAs) and updating the knowledge base.

Collaborate with the
Level2 Team and the software validation team to identify new bugs and carry
out tests.

Collaborate with
Support and Development Teams to provide input for the new procedures and
documentation, and with the entire organisation to gain technical knowledge
internally.

Work with the Service
Operations Manager to improve existing activities and tools.

Provide remote and
on-site training (new or existing training) to the Service Providers,
working with the Technical Writer to develop and update the various training
tools and concepts.

Collaborate with and
take responsibility of the various customer related administrative documents
such as “operator profiles”, etc..

- English and French obligatory (any
other European language a plus).
