Product Marketing Specialist
Summary:This role involves gathering information, dealing with customers to define needs, and producing a product strategy and roadmap.

Position

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and supporting the definition of the product vision. Working closely with groups in engineering, sales and marketing, the objective of this role is to support the company's overall product strategy and goals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with relevant product and customer requirements from sales, other marketing groups, engineering and the market place.

  • Deliver product requirement documents with prioritized features.

  • Support the definition of the product strategy and roadmap.

  • Brief and train the sales force at regular sales meetings.

  • Maintain visibility on the competition and integrate information in the product strategy.

Profile

  • As an experienced marketing professional, you have a significant background in product marketing, preferably in the automomotive/transport industries or geolocalisation services.

  • You have a strong background in marketing process, product marketing, collecting requirements and working toward a product roadmap.

  • You are comfortable in a corporate environment, dealing with internal groups, external suppliers and especially large corporate clients.

  • You have been involved in the launch of successful products.

  • You have excellent communication skills, expecially in English and a strong approach to teamwork.
