Position

This purpose of this position is to create a bridge between the technical and business requirements expressed by clients and this company's internal engineering teams.

Responsabilités/Responsibilities

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and the execution of the product plan for the duration of the product lifecycle. An inter-disciplinary role, bridging gaps between engineering-oriented teams and business-oriented teams

Working closely with engineering, sales, presales, marketing and support, the Product Manager:

• Ensures revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
• Translates business objectives set for a product by Marketing or Presales into engineering requirements.
• Works to explain the capabilities and limitations of the finished product back to Marketing and Sales.
   

  The Product Manager is responsible for the following:

• Delivering prioritized features and corresponding justification.
• Scoping and defining new products at high level.
• Evangelizing new products within the company.
• Building product and technology roadmaps.
• Working to a critical path and ensuring all products are produced on schedule.
• Ensuring products are within price margins and up to spec.
• Product life-cycle considerations
• Product differentiation and positioning
• Detailed product planning.
• Product and process documentation is in English.

 

Profil/ Profile

With an appropriate engineering degree in IT, software or telecoms-related field, you have additional experience and business skills and several years experience in a similar role.

Familiar with the translation of business needs to technical solutions, you are familiar with the constraints on both sides and capable of finding technical solutions that fit the client's need. You have extensive experience in:

The development of telecoms-related software, preferably with a significant background in messaging solutions, provisioning and device management.

• Product planning and ensuring the delivering of new products
• Maintaining product roadmaps and the product life-cycles of multiple products
• Driving the release of products on time and on budget.
• Managing and maintaining all related documentation and tools, including product plans, product roadmaps, schedules etc..
• Communicating with clients, business teams, engineering management, project staff and software development engineers.
• Your spoken and written skills in English are excellent.
